When employees start their day, they log in. The software then takes screenshots of their work every 5 minutes and records the amount of keystrokes and mouse movements. How does a company know that its employees are working when they are at home?
We use tracking software. When employees start their day, they log in. The software then takes screenshots of their work every 5 minutes and records the amount of keystrokes and mouse movements. We also have our team check in on the staff randomly and assist in managing. Our team also works with the employer to ensure expectations are being met.
How do I find Candidates?
Contact us with your potential employer’s requirements and we will search our database of Filipino candidates and provide you with the best resumes we can find to show to your potential employer. We will interview the top candidates first, ensuring only the best resumes are presented. It is imperative we don’t waste the employer’s time, so all the appropriate checks are done prior to presentation.
How do I find Employers for the Filipino candidates?
This is up to you. Use all the contacts you have, ask around and network. We find that once you have placed one, the employer will ask for another, and will often refer to other business contacts. The more you find, the more you earn. As soon as you find someone interested, enter your reward claim.
Where is MyStaff based?
MyStaff is a brand formed by its parent company Shockwave Media Pty Ltd. We are an Australian registered company, with our HQ in Sydney.
Is the employee a 1099 or W2 Employee?
Neither. This is what’s called “Outsourcing”. We are based in the AU so we bill the “employer” for “professional management services”. This fee includes the wages that goes to the contractor in the Philippines. We handle pay, contracts, sick leaves, holidays, etc. on the employer’s behalf. We also provide software to the “employer” that lets them view screenshots/keystrokes/mouse movements of the worker so they know they are working… It’s all very cool!
Are all the candidates you have work-from-home-type employees?
Yes, this is essentially what outsourcing is, work that does not have to be done onsite or in an office. This enables us to access the best candidates from all over the Philippines. We are not limited to one area as so many BPOs are. We have noticed that some of the most skilled and talented desire to have the flexibility of working from home or away from the major cities.
What currency does the Employer pay in?
Their own. MyStaff bills the Employer in their local currency factoring in the exchange rate.

MyStaff charges a small monthly management fee to cover Mystaff employees managing the Filipino contractors’ pay, start and end times, tracking hours they have done, productivity reports, sick leaves, holidays and all banking/currency exchange fees. Is it possible to get a percentage of the residual management fee?

Like all staff, things can change. If an employee isn’t meeting the requirements, the MyStaff team will search for other candidates at no cost to the employer.
